Hi there, Buttons here! Pretty sure the phrase "cute as a button" was invented because of me. I am an 8 year old male looking to find my forever home. Fun fact, I might be the FRIENDLIEST dog you will ever meet. I just want to say hello to everyone, what can I say! I have also done well with kids in the past. If you're looking for a couch potato who loves to love people, I'm your guy! Snuggling or chewing my Nyla bone are some of my favorite activities, obviously belly rubs as well.
I recently discovered my love for swimming so if you have a pool, I'd love to show you how brave I am and how much I love playing fetch in the pool.
I recently got to spend some time away from the shelter, here is what my foster had to say about me!
"Buttons is settling in so nicely! He spends his days snoring away next to my husband while he is working from home. When he is not sleeping, he enjoys sniffing all the smells around the property and watching the herd of deer from our back patio. He is very potty trained and completely unbothered by the sound of my barking resident dogs upstairs. He also has no problem with being left to roam freely around our home. When he gets excited he will start to bunny hop and that's when I know it's stuffy toy playtime! I also tell him to "get your toy" when he gets excited. He is honestly the perfect foster, we all love him!"
While it hasn't been noted that I've lived with other dogs, I would prefer to be the only pet in my new home.
