Meet Chopper! This dashing dude is a husky/lab mix on a mission to find his forever family! Chopper is a friendly fella who can't get enough of toys-especially those squeaky ones that make him bounce with joy! Full of energy, he's on the lookout for the perfect play buddy! Now, he might get a little jittery when it comes to collars and leashes, but with some tender loving care, we know he'll realize that leash time means fun time! This clever pup already knows a bunch of commands like sit, lie down, come, and stay. Plus, he's no stranger to pampering-grooming sessions, nail trims, baths, you name it, he's all in! Chopper does have a touch of separation anxiety, which means he might try to pull a Houdini when left alone. He needs a human who can shower him with time and attention. As for cats and other dogs? Chopper can be a bit possessive and would do best as the only pet of the house! Due to his possessive personality, Chopper needs an owner that knows how to respect his boundaries and can continue to work with him on his reactive tendencies. We have noticed he does not love to share his toys. A new owner will need to be attentive to potential resource guarding when it comes to high value items and other dogs.
