MEET RIFT - A BEAUTIFUL BOY LOOKING FOR HIS SECOND CHANCE
Meet Rift, a gorgeous 2-year-old neutered male who is hoping someone will look past his FIV-positive status and see the amazing cat underneath.
Rift is a handsome boy with plenty of personality - including a little bit of spice! He can be opinionated at times, and we believe he will do much better once he is out of the shelter and settled into a home where he can relax, decompress and build trust at his own pace.
Rift is looking for an experienced cat home, ideally with someone who understands FIV-positive cats and is comfortable reading feline body language and respecting a cat who may occasionally say, "That's enough attention for today!"
We truly believe that life in a home could make all the difference for Rift. The shelter environment can be overwhelming, and we would love to see what this beautiful boy is like when he has a quiet space, consistency and a person he can learn to trust.
Rift is looking for:
An experienced cat owner
Someone familiar with FIV-positive cats
A patient, understanding home
Someone comfortable with his occasional spicy side
A family willing to let him settle in at his own pace A forever commitment
Being FIV positive does not mean Rift doesn't deserve a loving home. He deserves someone willing to see beyond a diagnosis and give him the opportunity to show them who he really is.
We think there is a sweet, loving boy hiding behind that spicy exterior, just waiting for the right person to bring him out.
Could you be Rift's person?
