Meet Nutter Butter! This beautiful 5-year-old, 66-pound lady is newer to BARCS and would love a comfortable place to settle in. The busy shelter environment has been overwhelming for her, so she is hoping to find an adoptive home as soon as possible.
Outside her kennel, Nutter Butter has been showing her softer side. Give her a few minutes to get acquainted at her own pace, and she enjoys gentle pets, soothing massages, and belly rubs. She is also food motivated and already knows "sit," making treats a lovely way to start building a friendship.
Nutter Butter enjoys sniffing and exploring on walks. She walks fairly well on leash, with some light to moderate pulling when an interesting smell catches her attention. On her outings, she has calmly watched people and other dogs pass at a distance without observed leash reactivity.
Nutter Butter prefers polite friends and may need to meet any doggie roommates to make sure they are a good match.
