Meet Carnitas! This sweet girl is a little reserved as she settles into shelter life, but she is happy to get leashed up and head outside for a walk. She's a super sniffer who enjoys taking her time to investigate all the interesting scents along the way.
Once Carnitas feels comfortable, her affectionate side begins to shine. She loves stopping for cuddles, turning her sniffing adventure into a chance to share some sweet moments with her walking buddy. She also knows "sit" and has a lovely mix of curiosity and gentle charm. She's a medium sized girl at 38 pounds.
Carnitas may need to meet any doggie roommates to make sure they are good match.
Carnitas would love to meet someone who will give her time to feel comfortable and enjoy getting to know the cuddly girl beneath that shy first impression. A leisurely walk, a little patience, and some loving attention are a wonderful place to start! Come down to BARCS and meet Carnitas.
