Meet Annie Oakley, a beautiful chocolate girl with a gentle heart and a smile that will melt yours. She may be a little shy when you first meet her, but give her some time, a calm approach, and a chance to enjoy the outdoors with you, and you'll begin to see her sweetness shine.
Once Annie feels comfortable, she welcomes gentle pets and likes to stay close. Ask her to sit, and she'll move as close to you as she can before settling down and looking up with the sweetest expression. It's a little moment that makes you want to linger, offer another soft scratch, and get to know her even better.
Annie Oakley has met other dogs here and she prefers polite pals. She requests to meet any potential roommates to be sure they are a good match.
Annie walks well on a leash, knows "sit," and appears to be housetrained at the shelter. She would love a patient adopter who will let her blossom at her own pace and appreciate the quiet joy of earning her trust. With her beautiful smile and tender personality, Annie Oakley is ready to find a home where she can feel safe, cherished, and part of the family. Visit BARCS to meet Annie Oakley!
