Meet Daffodil! This very sweet, medium-sized girl weighs 39 pounds and arrived at the shelter a little underweight. Slowly but surely, she has been putting the pounds back on-helped along by her enthusiastic love of treats! She is extremely food motivated, engaged with her handler, and still learning to take treats a little more gently.
Daffodil is housetrained, already knows "sit," and is an easy walk on the leash. She may become interested in other dogs and pull occasionally, but she is very easy to redirect when needed. In the play yard, Daffodil confidently struts her stuff on the agility equipment, jumping onto the platforms without any coaxing!
Along with her loving personality, Daffodil has the cutest little feature: one of her ears occasionally points straight up, giving her an irresistibly charming look. Sweet, smart, and full of personality, Daffodil is blossoming more every day.
Daffodil has met other dogs at the shelter and does best with playful, tolerant male friends. She may need to meet any potential doggie roommates to make sure they are a good match. She is also eligible to return to BARCS for social sessions.
