Meet Izakaya! This beautiful 46-pound girl has the most striking coloring, the cutest ears, and a calm, independent personality that makes her such a pleasant companion. She is very easy to leash up and has lovely manners once outside, generally keeping a loose leash and passing other dogs without reacting.
Izakaya appears to be house-trained and takes care of her business as soon as she gets outside. Once the important stuff is out of the way, she is ready to slow things down and investigate every interesting scent she can find. A walk with Izakaya is less of a hurried march and more of a peaceful amble through the grass, with plenty of time built in for sniffing!
This sweet girl can be a little shy when first meeting someone and may need time to build a connection, but she is becoming braver every day. The way to her heart may be through her stomach-cheese is an excellent place to start, though she is also happy to accept a Milk-Bone! This easy-going girl has a great "sit."
Izakaya is looking for a patient adopter who will give her the time and space she needs to settle in at her own pace. With kindness, tasty treats, and a little patience, this lovely girl will have the chance to discover just how wonderful life in a loving home can be.
