Meet Saguaro, a lanky 67-pound sweetheart who is blossoming more each day! When Saguaro first arrived at the shelter, he was very shy, but he has started coming out of his shell and showing everyone what a fun, playful, and intelligent boy he truly is.
Saguaro recently went on a Dog's Day Out adventure and was an amazing companion! He rode incredibly well in the car and was very manageable on his leash once he started exploring. Saguaro loves taking his time to sniff along the trails. He may pull a little when something catches his interest, but he is easy to keep moving. If he notices another dog, his love of treats makes him very easy to redirect. This smart boy quickly figured out that good behavior earns him a tasty reward!
Saguaro already knows "sit," loves stopping during his adventures for pets and scratches, and is eager to greet the people he meets. He also enjoys playing with his toys! With his sweet personality, playful spirit, and eagerness to learn, Saguaro is ready to become an amazing companion for his future family!
Saguaro has met other dogs at the shelter, he does best with tolerant and socially savvy female friends. He may need to meet any potential doggie roommates to make sure they are a good match.
