Meet Block Party 3, a spunky, active girl who brings both playful energy and plenty of cuddles! She can get a little jumpy when excited, but with a calm approach and attention saved for when she settles, she walks very nicely on leash.
Block Party 3 is extremely treat motivated and already knows "sit," making training a fun opportunity to bond with her. Beneath that bouncy enthusiasm is a cuddly girl who loves affection. She's looking for an adopter who will enjoy her active spirit, help her keep practicing her manners, and make time for snuggles!
This fun girl went to an adoption event where she was amazing! She greeted adults and children perfectly for over two hours! She was not reactive to other dogs at all.
Block Party has been spending a few nights in a temporary foster home, and she is proving to be an absolute delight! This sweet girl is perfectly housetrained and has not had a single accident. She goes right into her kennel, sleeps comfortably through the night, and even brings her stuffed animals inside to keep her company. When she isn't relaxing in her kennel, she enjoys making adorable little nests nearby for her naps.
Block Party also does wonderfully when left alone. After a little minor whining during her first couple of days, she quickly settled into her new routine. She can be left either crated or uncrated without barking, scratching at doors, or getting into anything she shouldn't. She even rested quietly in her kennel without a peep while her foster family enjoyed dinner upstairs.
On walks, Block Party is a dream. She walks nicely without pulling and has not shown any reactivity toward people or other animals. Although she and the resident dog have been staying on separate floors, they have taken several walks together and have shown only calm, polite interest in one another from a distance.
At home, Block Party loves curling up in her foster's lap for snuggles. She already knows "sit," gently carries her stuffed toys into her kennel, and is an easy, affectionate companion. Even while recovering from a URI and feeling a little under the weather, she continues to show what a loving and well-mannered girl she is. Block Party is ready to bring her wonderful combination of sweetness, cuddles, and excellent house manners to a family of her own!
