Meet Sweetquake-affectionately known as "Sweetcake" to the volunteers who adore her. And honestly, the name fits. She is irresistible. This mild-mannered, soft-natured 4-year-old arrived feeling timid and unsure, but each day, a little more of her affectionate personality shines through. She enjoys gentle pets, stays close to her human friends, and loves taking her time to explore interesting scents on a walk-doggie mail and such.
Sweetquake loves following her nose and thoroughly investigating all the interesting scents on her walks. She may pull a little when something catches her attention, but she engages well with her handler. She is also extremely treat motivated, making snacks a wonderful way to connect with her and practice her leash manners. She also seems to be housebroken.
Sweetquake has done well meeting other dogs and prefers gentle, polite playmates. She'll need to meet any potential canine siblings to ensure a good match and is eligible to return to BARCS for socialization sessions.
This 54-pound sweetheart is ready to blossom in a loving home. She is already spayed and ready to bring her sweetness to your life.
