Meet Shaymin! This spunky, affectionate girl loves running and playing in the yard. She will gladly strut her stuff on the agility equipment and is eager to please her person. She absolutely loves her toys. When playtime is over, she happily settles in for cuddles and pets.
Shaymin enjoyed a Dog's Day Out with a volunteer, where she had a blast strolling through the neighborhood and running around a big yard. This playful, energetic girl loved chasing balls and showed off skills like "sit", "down" and "come." She is so smart that she even learned "drop it" during her outing! Shaymin also visited Fort McHenry, where she loved playing fetch. Her favorite part of the adventure was watching the birds. She was a polite passenger in the car, did well around children, and didn't beg while her new friends ate lunch.
Shaymin recently attended an adoption event, where she had fun and did well meeting new people. At 42 pounds, she is a wonderful medium-sized companion ready for her next adventure.
Shaymin has met other dog pals at BARCS, she is social and playful with her friends. She may need to meet any doggie roommates to make sure they are a good match.
