Meet Jimmy Neutron! With his adorable oversized head and irresistible charm, this handsome boy is guaranteed to make you smile. He's the definition of a sweetheart and has an easygoing personality that's hard not to fall in love with.
Jimmy Neutron is an absolute pleasure to walk. He strolls along on a loose leash at a leisurely pace with no pulling or reactivity, making him a wonderfully manageable walking companion. While he seems perfectly content taking a slow, relaxed stroll and stopping to enjoy his surroundings, he can pick up the pace when needed. He enjoys checking in with his person along the way, is food motivated, takes treats nicely, and already knows "sit."
As lovely as Jimmy is on leash, his favorite thing might just be affection. This boy LOVES being petted and wants all the attention you're willing to give him. During one outing, he became so adorably excited about getting pets that he started spinning around and practically tripping over himself with happiness. He'll also happily roll onto his back for belly rubs and soak up every bit of love he can get. If you have two free hands for petting, Jimmy Neutron would very much appreciate both of them!
He was a little reluctant to head back inside after one of his walks, but a few tasty treats made the transition easy. Jimmy Neutron is a friendly, gentle, affectionate boy who has quickly stolen the hearts of the volunteers spending time with him. If you're looking for a sweet, easygoing companion who enjoys leisurely walks, plenty of belly rubs, and simply being with his people, come meet Jimmy Neutron. It might not take him more than 20 minutes to steal your heart, too!
Jimmy Neutron has met other dogs at the shelter, he can be easily uncomfortable and will need to meet any potential doggie roommates to make sure they are a good match. He is eligible to come back to BARCS for social sessions.
