Ballyhoo came to BARCS as a stray, and this adorable 1-year-old boy is ready to find the loving family he's been waiting for. At just 30 pounds, he's the perfect medium-sized companion-big enough for adventures but small enough to fit right into your lap for snuggles!
This sweet, happy guy loves to play, especially when toys are involved. Give him a toy and some room to romp, and you'll quickly see his fun-loving personality shine. Once playtime is over, Ballyhoo is more than happy to trade his toys for cuddle time, soaking up all the affection you have to offer.
Ballyhoo enjoys getting out for walks and happily wags his tail along the way. He's generally an easy walking companion, though he may pull a little when something interesting catches his eye. With his eagerness to engage and young age, he'll thrive with continued guidance and positive reinforcement.

Ballyhoo has met other dogs at the shelter, he does best with very gentle, dainty friends, who are able to read cues and give him space when needed. He may need to meet any potential doggie roommates to make sure they are a good match.
