Meet Iams (Ghost)! This handsome 7-year-old arrived at BARCS as a stray, and his finders shared that he was friendly, easy to handle, appears to be house trained, and did well around their small and medium-sized dogs.
Iams (Ghost) is the definition of an easygoing companion. He enjoys leisurely strolls where he can sniff and explore before happily making his way back for some attention. While toys don't seem to interest him much, treats definitely do! He already knows "sit," takes treats gently, and absolutely loves back and booty scratches.
When another dog passed by outside the yard, Iams (Ghost) wandered over with a couple of adorable little barks, seeming more curious than anything else. His calm, friendly personality shines through in everything he does, making him a wonderful companion for someone looking for a relaxed, affectionate dog.
Iams has met other dogs at the shelter, he does best with tolerant friends and may need to meet any potential doggie roommates to make sure they are a good match.
