Old Roy is easy to leash up and loves getting out to explore the world. Every walk is an adventure as he happily sniffs all the neighborhood news, while checking back in with his person as if to say, "Are we doing this together?" He has wonderful manners, already knows both "sit" and "down," and is always happy to earn a tasty treat for showing off his skills.
When the adventure is over, Old Roy is more than ready to soak up all the love you have to give. He adores pets, has the sweetest smile, and has a calm, gentle presence that makes spending time with him feel easy and comforting.
Old Roy has met other dogs at the shelter, he can be easily uncomfortable and will need to meet any potential doggie roommates to make sure they are a good match. He is eligible to come back to BARCS for social sessions.
