Meet Flint (Chase)! This handsome 2-year-old boy weighs 59 pounds and is already altered and ready to head home with his new family. Flint is a friendly, happy pup who loves pets, scratches, and spending time with his people. His former family reported that he is friendly when meeting new people and has been receptive to training. He is very food motivated, takes treats gently, and already knows "sit," making him a fun and rewarding companion to work with. He has lived with children.
Flint walks beautifully on leash and is highly engaged with his handler. While he may come out of his kennel excited and ready to go, he quickly settles into an easy, loose-leash walk and remains attentive throughout his outing. He enjoys checking in with his person, listens well, and is eager to interact. He loves to strut his stuff on the agility equipment!
Volunteers have enjoyed spending time with Flint, noting how sweet and easy he is to be around. He has been observed resting calmly in his kennel, peeking out hopefully whenever someone walks by. Outside, he loves relaxing on a bench for pets and treats and is always happy to soak up attention. And, of course, this handsome boy is quite the model when the camera comes out. Flint has a very playful side, too, and loves bouncing around in the yard after his toys and playing fetch.
Flint is playful with his favorite dog pals, and he would like to meet any doggie roommates to make sure they are a good match.
With his friendly personality, good leash manners, trainability, and affectionate nature, Flint is the total package and ready to find a family to call his own. Come down to BARCS and meet Flint (Chase)!
