Meet Carly Bakery! She is an incredibly loving dog who always wants to be with her person. Once she comes out of her shell, she loves to play fetch and tug of war, and then chill out with a good kong or chew toy. Carly is house trained, walks well on a leash and would benefit greatly from a yard to run around in. In a home, she loves to snuggle on the couch. She is sooo gentle and sweet, and the perfect medium sized dog.
Carly Bakery went on a hike at Patapsco State Park with a volunteer, and had a great time. The volunteer reported "On the way to the trail she had great car manners and stayed in the backseat the whole time. Once on trail this girl had such good leash manners that sometimes I forgot I was even holding a leash haha. Whenever we passed other hikers, dogs, and/or bikers she would step to the side and "sit" perfectly for us. She takes treats very gently and responds well to her name and "come". On the way back to the shelter she curled up in the back seat and took the cutest little nap."
Carly Bakery has met other pups here - she does best with tolerant playful friends. She will need to meet any potential doggie siblings to make sure they are a good match.
