Kyle is energetic, joyful and adventurous. He approaches every outing with excitement and stays fully engaged in whatever is happening around him. He is playful and fun loving. Kyle never seems to run out of energy and is always ready for the next adventure. He's also still figuring out how he feels about other dogs. Once he knows and trusts you, though, he becomes a friendly companion who loves treats and gentle pets. With patience and understanding, Kyle has the potential to form strong bonds with his people and he would make the perfect outdoor-loving companion. He's been going on Dog Day Out adventures recently and having the time of his life! The volunteers who have taken him on these outings have had wonderful feedback about their time together:
"Kyle is a sweet boy and wonderful adventure buddy! He is strong and energetic, after he burns some energy he starts to relax and enjoys the adventure. He loves to be outside and swimming in the river. Kyle is curious and an outdoor enthusiast who approaches life as if every walk is an expedition and every new smell is something worth investigating."
"Kyle is an extrovert, he loves people and is very aware of his environment. He sniffs at everything and directs the walk at all times. He likes to chase the bigger critters, but is pretty mellow on the leash and is happy to have is nose in a bush."
"Kyle had an amazing Dog Day Out! He visited Cline Falls and the Deschutes River, where he loved swimming and playing with other dogs. He also met lots of new people and even enjoyed a pup cup from an ice cream truck!
"Kyle is very outgoing and friendly with people, including children, and enjoys playing with other dogs. While he is excited and pulls on leash, he was able to ignore dogs at a distance without barking or pulling toward them. He absolutely loves the water and may make a great future paddle-boarding buddy with some training! One of the cutest things noticed was Kyle's apparent lifeguard instinct-he was very concerned about people swimming and seemed determined to make sure everyone was okay! Overall, he was described as a fun, social, adventurous pup who loves being included in the action."
