Bullitt is the kind of dog who's figured out what matters in life: a comfortable place to relax, people he trusts, and a peaceful home where he can feel secure. This 7 year old Pit Bull was surrendered when his family had to move, and he's adjusting to a big change after spending his life as an indoor companion with access to a fenced yard. Bullitt is housebroken, crate trained, and he understands the routines of living in a home. Bullitt is a little bit older and isn't especially interested in toys or constant activity. He's outgrown the wild puppy phase and would much rather lounge near his people and enjoy a calm environment. He does have a sensitive side and can get nervous around small children, so he would do best in a quieter home without young kids. Bullitt has previously lived with cats, though those relationships were a bit complicated, so he may not be the best match for a home with new feline friends. He also has allergies to beef and chicken, which his future family will need to keep in mind when choosing his food and treats. At heart, Bullitt is simply looking for stability again - a home where he can settle in, feel safe, and be loved for the easygoing companion he is.
