Meet Pepper! ??
Pepper is a beautiful 1-year-old German Shepherd / Chesapeake Bay Retriever mix with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. Recently surrendered after the child in her previous home could no longer care for her, Pepper is now looking for a fresh start with a family who will cherish her.
Pepper has spent her life outdoors so far, but since arriving here, she's shown all the signs of being ready-and excited!-to transition into indoor life. She's calm, observant, and easygoing, which tells us she'll adapt quickly to a cozy home environment.
This sweet girl gets along wonderfully with other dogs, is friendly with cats, and absolutely adores children. Pepper has been a great roommate to another pup at our shelter, so a multi-dog household would suit her just fine.
Laid back and loving, Pepper is the kind of dog who will fit right into a family and offer quiet companionship, loyalty, and a gentle presence. She's ready for her second chance and can't wait to find her forever home.
