Naomi came to Hallie Hill as an emaciated puppy in 2015. She was adopted in 2017 and kept in a loving home for three years, but when her owner had to move, they no longer had a secure yard, so he had to take her for daily walks and to dog parks. Sadly, Naomi became reactive to people and dogs when on a leash and was returned to the sanctuary. Naomi has a history of injuring a dog, so she is housed alone at the sanctuary, and we recommend a home where she can be the only dog. When going on outings with volunteers from the sanctuary, she does very well. Even though she is a senior and a bit wobbly on her feet nowadays, she's still very curious and loves exploring and sniffing on her walks. She doesn't tear up toys, but she loves graciously accepting them, always taking them gently in her mouth. Overall, Naomi's temperament is incredibly sweet, gentle, and loving. She likes rubbing her face on her human friends and giving kisses.
