Ava is a senior fluffy collie mix with the purplest tongue you've ever seen! As an older dog, her hearing and sight might not be what it used to be, but her nose is legendary - she'll track you (and your snacks) down no matter where you try to hide. Sweet, silly, and oh-so-fluffy, Ava's ready to sniff out her forever home. When she arrived at Hallie Hill positive for heartworms, but after diligent treatment, she is now heartworm negative! Ava enjoys hanging out with her other canine friends and chatting; she has a very distinct voice. Even though she's never smoked a cigarette in her life, Ava's bark is endearingly gruff and ruff, always there to remind you when it's meal time. She loves perching in a comfy chair, and her gorgeous fur is ripe for the brushing.
