Update: If you see Phil in an interaction pen these days, he's likely running with a ball in his mouth, jumping in a pool, or doing both. He's come a long way since he first arrived at the shelter. He's no longer frightened to leave his kennel-he wants to play! He loves toys and is working on sitting and waiting for them to be thrown. Once the toy is thrown, he's off! He's a happy, energetic boy who's a lot of fun.

Phil is gorgeous with his rich brown coat and blue eyes. When he first came to the shelter, he was too shy to leave his kennel, but today, he was ready to join me. He's friendly and sweet, and I would have liked to have stayed with him longer, but Phil didn't want to stay in the shade, and the turf was hot, so he was ready to go. For the time we were together, he liked pets and is a nice, well-behaved dog.
