Update: Dinero has stolen my heart. When I first met him, we had to work on his manners because he'd get excited and jump up. Today, I only corrected him once. He worked to do whatever I asked of him like getting on the bench for a picture, giving good sits, and bringing the ball back when we played fetch. Praise works with Dinero, and hearing that he's a good boy makes him proud.

When I first met Dinero, he was timid and not too sure about being at the shelter, so every time I passed his kennel, I'd say his name and give him a treat. Today, he was ready to meet a new friend and walked with me to an interaction pen. Dinero loves treats and is quick to sit for them. He also beams when he's praised. When he first joined me outside, he'd forget his manners and jump up. Telling him to sit, rewarding him with treats and praise worked, and the jumping up business ended. Dinero's former owner said Dinero is house trained and crate trained. He lived as an indoor/outdoor dog. His former owner also said Dinero is good with kids and lived with children five years old and under. He's a good boy who responds to correction and likes to please.
