Foster update: Atlas is a two year old dog I've been fostering for a couple of months. He's very sweet and loves people-he's especially crazy for women and kids-and he loves walks and car rides and meals and snacks. He's an affectionate and loving dog who'll make somebody's home and family richer and more fun.

Foster update: For the last two weeks I've been fostering Atlas, a 2 year old sixty-ish pound fellow. I've heard him bark once since I've had him, and he's been good with all humans and dogs he's met.
You should see how he gazes lovingly in your eyes when you pet him.

I remember Diesel (fka Atlas), but I didn't recognize him because he's so thin. He's still the well-mannered, gentle friend I met last May almost a year ago. He should put on some weight now that he's being properly cared for, but it makes me sad that he hasn't had the life he deserves. He's a really sweet boy who likes to please, sits like a pro for treats, and enjoys being loved on. When he came to the shelter last year, he arrived with another dog, and they shared a kennel. He was friendly to his canine neighbor at the fence today and didn't seem bothered when other dogs barked at him. He's a good boy, and I hope he finds a new home soon.
