Foster update: Ember lives with other dogs and loves to play. She's not a puppy anymore but her joy is infectious. She wiggles her whole body with excitement and has the biggest grin you've ever seen.
Ember loves people and has never met a stranger. She is also an excellent cuddler who would be happy snuggled up with her humans.
House trained, crate trained, and good on a leash. This girl will make an excellent addition to any family.

I had a great time with Ember today. She's so much fun! She loves playing with toys and is good about sitting and waiting for me to throw them. Once I do, she's off as fast as she can go and will fetch the toy and often bring it back. Ember is a sweet, beautiful girl. When she first arrived, she was thin, but she's put on some weight and looks great. She's happy to be with her human, eager to please, and has so much joy to share. I absolutely adore her!

Ember is a sweet girl. She'd just arrived at the shelter when I took her out, but she didn't hesitate to walk with me. When I sat down on the picnic table bench, she immediately found my treat pouch. Ember LOVES treats. She was polite about waiting for them, but she needs to work on taking them gently. I ended up tossing them for her to catch or chase, and she thought that was fun. Ember responds to pets and praise. She's thin, her skin is dry, and she could use some TLC (Update: Ember has put on some weight and her coat looks great!). I know she'd appreciate all the love, care, and treats she can get.
