Hello, friends! My name is Mr. Humphrey and I'm a handsome tabby/white-mixed male tabby who's just waiting for the purr-fect human to come along and adopt me! So what's my story? Well, I had a home before coming to the shelter but I got into a little trouble and had to spend some time in quarantine. It was not my fault though---you see, my person was carrying me near a big dog and I got very scared and I bit/scratched to get away because I was very frightened of the dog. And then they brought me to the shelter to surrender me and now I'm available for adoption. I'm a friendly, loving cat who enjoys lots of attention. But I need to be in a home without dogs (or at least no big dogs). I hope that you will give me a chance to have a home again and a happy life! I must be an indoor-only cat to keep me safe from the many outside dangers that could hurt me. Lots of toys, a friend to play with, and a comfy bed would be enough to keep me happy and content.
