My name is Berenice, and my story begins with a little heartbreak. When our owner moved away, I was left behind in an empty apartment with five other kittens. We didn't understand why the world suddenly felt so big, so quiet, and so unfamiliar. Thankfully, the building manager found us and reached out to Animal Ark. That's how we came here - to safety, warmth, and the first deep breath we'd taken in a long time. I'm a one-year-old female grey tabby and white cat. I can be shy at first, but once I feel secure, my curiosity and sweetness start to shine through. My roommates at the shelter are Nina and Neo, and we came to Animal Ark together. We don't know much about our past with dogs or children, but slow, thoughtful introductions can make all the difference. What we do know is that we're ready - ready for love, for stability, and for the next chapter in our nine lives.
