Dahlia is a total love-bug who thrives on affection and attention. A true Velcro dog, she loves to be close to her humans and will often stay in the same room as you, especially if you're relaxing on the couch. She has a playful, curious, and active side, enjoying walks and outdoor adventures, though her strong instinct to sniff means we're still working on loose-leash walking. Dahlia is affectionate and loves cuddling, often snuggling closely until she's relaxed enough to settle down. She gets along with people quickly, especially if they offer her love and attention, and she's already learned several tricks, with more in progress.
Dahlia has a strong food drive, and she's especially fond of treats and human food (like veggies!). Car rides are a breeze for her, and she handles being left alone for a reasonable amount of time. While she's generally good-natured, she can be a bit protective when encountering other dogs up close but is curious about them from a distance. Dahlia would make a wonderful companion in a home where she can be doted on, enjoy plenty of playtime, and relax in comfort. Her loving nature and sweet personality will make her an incredible addition to a patient, caring family.
