Izabella - Adoptable
Her ears are full French size, but the rest of her is still catching up!
Isabella is on the smaller size as she had a very slow start in life. She was born with hydrocephalus as well as a mouth deformity so she needed to be hand fed to thrive. She's been in rescue all her life where she's received extensive care to get her where she is today. Her hydrocephalus is managed, her mouth is magnificent and she's ready to find a special home.
Considering she's only a 9 month old puppy, she's as mellow as they come - unless she's nibbling on your fingers. She's generally a very calm and quiet girl, but does have bursts of energy that manifest as an occasional zoomie or full-on toy tossing. Her first key months were spent as an only pup as she needed so much one-on-one attention. And while she has lived with other dogs in the home for the last 6 months, she interacts with them very little.
However, this sweet girl absolutely loves people and will always choose them over her canine friends. She a big cuddler on the couch and is equally happy to just hang out in her xpen. She does well with medications to manage her hydrocephalus and some skin issues. These are given daily and she slurps them up in her meals. Even though she is fond of food, she is not food focused and could easily be left to graze her meals throughout the day.
This adorable, pint sized pup (6kg) is looking for someone who can appreciate her special needs and in return will get beaucoup de Frenchie kisses.
