Meet Cheyenne, our lovely four-year-old retired mama who's finally getting the love she's always deserved. Before coming to AAHS, Cheyenne spent her entire life outdoors without proper care, vaccinations, or preventatives-but this resilient girl never gave up. Miraculously, she tested negative for heartworms, and her puppies are healthy, happy, and almost ready to find homes of their own (stay tuned)!
Now that she's felt kindness for the first time, Cheyenne has absolutely blossomed. She's a wiggly, tail-wagging dancing queen who gets a little timid around new people, but warms up quickly with gentle affection. She's still learning her manners, but she's very treat-motivated and loves going for walks to explore the world that's finally opening up to her. Cheyenne is available for adoption, foster, or even foster-to-adopt!
