HUMAN SOCIAL IN SHELTER:
Bubby can be shy and nervous when first meeting people, but given time to warm up, he is very human social and friendly.

FAVOURITE THINGS:
He loves his stuffed toys, loves car ride but most importantly he loves being by your side

FOSTER AND FIELD TRIP INSIDER INFO: (please note that dogs may behave different in foster's care than adopter's care and the following cannot be guaranteed)

HOUSE TRAINING:
Bubby is house trained. He has not had any accidents in the house. He will just do a little whine at you and won't be able to settle when he has to go to the bathroom. He does not need to go out during the night. His last walk is usually between 8:30-9pm and then he is good for the night.

CAR MANNERS:
He loves the car! He will jump right in and loves to have his head out the window. He will usually just sit on one side and observe the world around him. I usually just leash his leash on but not attached to anything as he wait for you to get ahold of it before jumping out of the car. If you say the word "car ride" he will tilt his head and start to get really excited.

LEASH MANNERS / ON WALK MANNERS:
Bubby walks wonderfully on leash. He never pulls unless he sees another dog that is not barking at him, but even when he pulls its only a little tension on the leash before we are off again. He will usually start the walk Infront of you but will slowly go behind you as his energy goes down.

KNOWN TRAINING CUES:
He know sit and paw. When you say "treat" he will instantly look at you and tilt his head. It does take him a few seconds to sit but he will offer you his paw the moment he is sitting.

HUMAN SOCIAL:
I have found that he loves people with treats and is great with any adult I have introduced him to as long as they don't pet around his face too much and go slow letting him check them out first. He loves scratches and getting as many belly rubs as possible.

TOYS:
Bubby loves his stuffed toys! He will often bring them up to you so that you can play tug with him. He does also love to destroy toys so I have been very careful to make sure he does not ingest any pieces of fluff. He does know the "release" cue but will only release when someone he is familiar with asks him too. If you ask him where his toys are he will usually run around to find his current favourite and bring it right to you to start playing.

FOOD & TREATS:
Bubby loves treats! He is currently on a diet and is slow to eat his breakfast and dinner but the moment you say treat he will instantly turn to you and start to whine because he is so excited. He takes his treats really gently and is such a perfect boy.
