Meet Mooncake, a little ball of joy with a big personality! Sweet, curious, and a touch mischievous, he's ready to turn every day into an adventure. Mooncake can be shy at first, but give him a moment, and he'll be your cuddly sidekick for life. In his foster home, he gets along wonderfully with other animals, though a slow, gradual introduction is best to make sure everyone feels comfortable. Adopt Mooncake and bring home endless snuggles, laughter, and puppy charm!

FOSTER AND FIELD TRIP INSIDER INFO: (please note that dogs may behave different in foster's care than adopter's care and the following cannot be guaranteed)

HOUSE TRAINING:
Cannoli and Mooncake need a lot of work. I think because it has been so cold out they don't go out or don't stay out long enough to go to the washroom. They end up going all over the house. They don't stick to one spot either.

CAR MANNERS:
The only car rides they have had have been coming back from the centre and they have been in a crate. They didn't seem to mind the car ride though. They did not bark or whine much.

LEASH MANNERS / ON WALK MANNERS:
Unknown at this time.

CRATE TRAINING:
They have been very good with being in the crate at night or when I leave the house. They don't make too much noise and any noise they make does not last very long. I have been putting some food in the crate every time i put them in as a positive association tactic.

KNOWN TRAINING CUES:
They don't know any commands at this point.

HUMAN SOCIAL:
They always want to be around you. They have barked when new people come into the house and don't immediately go to them. It seems like they may take a bit of time to warm up to new people. They have been pretty good with being left alone. Most of the time I don't hear them when I walk in the door after being away. They are pretty good with not barking or whining too much when you come home

TOYS:
They have had a tendency to pull stuffing out of toys that have already been ripped. They have not destroyed any intact toys so far. They seem to be willing to play with anything that is around (balls, ropes, stuffies, etc)!

FOOD & TREATS:
They eat very quickly whenever food is put down for them. They would benefit from slow feeders. I'm sure they would eat anything that was given to them and would be food motivated. They get a stuffed kong every morning when I leave for work and it is always empty when I get home
