When meeting new people, Russell can be a little unsure at first. He may take a moment to size things up and build his confidence - but give him a little patience and kindness, and you'll quickly see his true personality shine. Once he warms up (which doesn't take long!), he becomes incredibly friendly, affectionate, and eager to be your best buddy.
Russell would do wonderfully with an active family who can help him channel his playful energy and continue building his confidence. He's smart, loving, and so ready to find a home where he can run, play, and then curl up after a day well spent.
