CHILDREN:
Yes- Bodhi is potentially compatible with older children who have experience with large dogs. Due to his size and enthusiastic play style, he is best suited for kids who are comfortable with big, energetic companions.
CATS & SMALL ANIMALS:
No- Due to high prey drive.
OTHER DOGS:
Yes- Dogs potentially compatible.
ACTIVITY/ENERGY LEVEL:
High; will need a lot of daily exercise, enrichment and mental stimulation.
HUMAN COMPATIBILTY:
His new family ideally should have previous large dog experience and be willing to work on difficult behaviours such as general anxiety.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/NEEDS:
At least two in-person training sessions to work on socialization, basic training, manners and anxiety.
HUMAN SOCIAL IN SHELTER:
Very human social. Bodhi loves tummy rubs and will always seek out people he is comfortable with for attention.

HOUSE TRAINING:
Yes, Bodhi does great with housetraining.
CAR MANNERS:
Bodhi loves the car, and sticking his head out the window.
LEASH MANNERS / ON WALK MANNERS:
He can pull when he gets excited, but he redirects easily and listens well to guidance.
CRATE TRAINING:
Bodhi is currently working on his crate training. He responds well to direction and will go into his kennel calmly and quietly. He will continue to need patience and consistency as he builds confidence with this routine.
KNOWN TRAINING CUES:
He is really good listening to Sit, Come, & Down. Bodhi is ready to learn with his furever family!
HUMAN SOCIAL:
Bodhi is very people-friendly and always excited to meet new friends. He is currently learning to keep all four paws on the ground when he gets excited.
TOYS:
Bodhi loves his toys and will do best with durable toys he can safely chew on.
FOOD & TREATS:
Bodhi grazes his food during the day and loves his treats. He is very treat motivated.
