Rocky is an extra-large, long-haired boy with a heart as big as his paws. This gentle giant can be a little shy at first and sometimes nervous when meeting new people, especially men, but with a bit of patience and kindness he warms up quickly and will soon become your loyal shadow.
Once Rocky knows you, he loves nothing more than being close to his people - he's a true cuddle bug who will happily follow you from room to room. He's still learning his basic manners and will need someone willing to help him with things like jumping up, mouthing, and pulling hard on leash.
Rocky recently had to be shaved prior to coming into our care, but his beautiful long, fluffy coat will grow back with time and care. Regular grooming will be part of keeping him looking and feeling his best. We do not recommend shaving this type of dog as it's not healthy for their coat.
Rocky is looking for a loving and patient home that can give him the confidence and training he needs while also enjoying all the love and loyalty he has to offer. If you're looking for a big, soft-hearted companion who just wants to be your best friend, Rocky might be the perfect match!
