True to her name, Honey is as sweet as can be. This gentle girl may be shy when you first meet her, but with a little patience and kindness, her warm personality begins to shine through. Once she feels safe, Honey reveals her soft, affectionate side-she enjoys quiet companionship, gentle pets, and the comfort of a calm, loving presence.

HOME TYPE:
House or Townhouse - No shared walls or apartments due to being very shy and timid in new environments and walking through hallways/doors
CHILDREN:
No - as she can be really nervous and touch sensitive
CATS & SMALL ANIMALS:
Yes- cats potentially compatible with slow proper introduction.
OTHER DOGS:
Yes- Dogs potentially compatible.
ACTIVITY/ENERGY LEVEL:
High; will need a lot of daily exercise, enrichment and mental stimulation.
HUMAN COMPATIBILTY:
First time dog owner possible.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/NEEDS:
Minimum 3 in-person training sessions to work on the following; Basic obedience, Basic manners (jumping up, mouthing), Socialization
HUMAN SOCIAL IN SHELTER:
She can be nervous or shy with new people but once comfortable with somebody she is very friendly and sweet.
FAVOURITE THINGS:
Quiet time spent getting pets and love.

**Please remember that animals are coming back from foster care to the centres for their meet and greets. They will be experiencing a new environment and meeting new people, which means they may not exhibit the same behaviours they did in their foster videos or while in foster care.
