May is still learning how to build confidence and that the world is not as scary as it currently appears. She is looking for a patient family that will spend the time to slowly introduce her to the world around her.
IN-SHELTER NOTES & IDEAL HOME
SIZE:

HOME TYPE:
No apartments as she can be quite nervous and she is sound sensitive
CHILDREN:
No - must be an adult only home - very nervous and touch sensitive requiring slower introductions but improving daily
CATS & SMALL ANIMALS:
Yes- cats potentially compatible with slow proper introduction
OTHER DOGS:
Yes- Dogs potentially compatible with slow proper introduction
ACTIVITY/ENERGY LEVEL:
High; will need a lot of daily exercise, enrichment and mental stimulation.
HUMAN COMPATIBILTY:
Previous large dog owner
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/NEEDS:
Three in-person training sessions required to work on socialization, basic training, manners (jumpy/mouthy), sound and touch sensitivity.
HUMAN SOCIAL IN SHELTER:
working on human socialization but can be very fearful and will need extra time and/or multiple meets
