IN-SHELTER NOTES & IDEAL HOME
SIZE:
53 lbs and still growing.
HOME TYPE:
House or townhouse. No shared walls as Lumiere can be vocal at times.
CHILDREN:
Yes- older children potentially compatible. Lumiere is a large dog who still needs to works on his manners.
CATS & SMALL ANIMALS:
Yes- cats potentially compatible with slow proper introduction.
OTHER DOGS:
Yes- dogs potentially compatible.
ACTIVITY/ENERGY LEVEL:
Very high; will need excessive amounts of daily exercise, enrichment and mental stimulation.
HUMAN COMPATIBILTY:
First time dog owner possible with extensive working/herding breed research and willingness to work on difficult behaviours such as resource guarding. Prior working/herding breed experience recommended.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/NEEDS:
Three in-person training to work on socialization, manners, resource guarding and basic training.
HUMAN SOCIAL IN SHELTER:
Very human social, he loves being around people. He is super friendly and bubbly!
FAVOURITE THINGS:
He is very treat motivated! He also loves chasing balls around the park!
