Pootat is a calm, sweet, and affectionate older gentleman who's looking for a peaceful forever home to call his own. He's a total cuddlebug who loves being near his people, whether it's lying beside you on the couch, cozying up in a pet bed, or curling up in your favorite chair. He even "talks" through his soft meows, like he's having a full-on conversation with you. It's kind of adorable.
Pootat has been incredibly relaxed and friendly in his foster home from day one. He's not bothered by loud noises like thunderstorms and does well with gentle pets, though he prefers chin scratches over long grooming sessions. He doesn't mind being picked up, but he's more into hanging out than high-energy play. That said, he does get the occasional case of the zoomie, just to keep you on your toes! He currently shares his foster home with a mellow large dog, and they coexist peacefully. He hasn't met the resident cat due to her feisty personality, but Pootat himself is calm and non-confrontational.
