Norman needs a home that will gently guide him and show him that the world isn't such a scary place. Once he feels safe and comfortable, he's a bundle of joy - bouncy, fun-loving, and ready to play! Whether it's running around in the yard or curling up on the couch for some quiet time, Norman will thrive in a loving, calm environment. SIZE:

HOME TYPE:
House or a townhouse. Because Norman is nervous/shy and can be reactive to new people, he would do best without any shared entrances or busy buildings.
CHILDREN:
No- nervous/shy and lacking manners.
CATS & SMALL ANIMALS:
Yes- cats potentially compatible with slow and proper introduction.
OTHER DOGS:
Yes- dogs potentially compatible with slow and proper introduction.
ACTIVITY/ENERGY LEVEL:
High; will need a lot of daily exercise, enrichment and mental stimulation.
HUMAN COMPATIBILTY:
First time dog owner possible, if prepared to work on difficult behaviours such as reactivity.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/NEEDS:
Three in-person training sessions required to work on socialization, manners (jumpy and mouthy), basic training and reactivity.
HUMAN SOCIAL IN SHELTER:
Very human social once he warms up! He is a big love buy and is super affectionate with staff her at the shelter.
FAVOURITE THINGS:
Toys and treats! He loves playing and especially loves stuffies.
