She would love to go out on hikes, camping or adventures with you and maybe even some puppy friends! This girl is a super friendly and outgoing who absolutely loves to go on adventures with her people and have lots of play time with her favourite toys!
Audrey told us that she LOVES treats and that she is super food motivated. She also told us to tell you that she really loves her toys and will share them with you too!
IN-SHELTER NOTES & IDEAL HOME
SIZE:
36 pounds
HOME TYPE:
No shared walls (i.e. apartments), as Audrey can be vocal at times.
CHILDREN:
Yes - older children or adults as she can be jumpy and mouthy due to lack of basic manners.
CATS & SMALL ANIMALS:
Yes- cats potentially compatible with slow proper introduction.
OTHER DOGS:
Yes - potentially compatible.
ACTIVITY/ENERGY LEVEL:
High; will need a lot of daily exercise, enrichment and mental stimulation.
HUMAN COMPATIBILTY:
First time dog owner possible as long as prepared to work on difficult behaviour such as separation anxiety.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/NEEDS:
Minimum 3 in-person training sessions to work on the following; Basic obedience, Basic manners (Jumping up and mouthing), Socialization, seperation anxiety.
HUMAN SOCIAL IN SHELTER:
Very human social, seeks out attention.
FAVOURITE THINGS:
Playing with toys, treats, getting lots of pets.

HOUSE TRAINING:

CAR MANNERS:
On our way home, she was well behaved, and sat very well on her own in the back. On our way back, she was a little shaky during the car ride.
LEASH MANNERS / ON WALK MANNERS:
Walks very well but takes a few minutes on the leash to settle down. She will match your pace. She loves to run with you.
CRATE TRAINING:
Unknown at this time.
KNOWN TRAINING CUES:
Knows sit.
HUMAN SOCIAL:
She loves to snuggle so much. A bit wary of strangers on walks but warmed up to me/ new people quickly.
TOYS:
Love any toys so far.
FOOD & TREATS:
Treat motivated. Loves liver treats.
