Anita has been looking for her forever home since December. She is a sweet but shy girl that's looking for the perfect family to help her come out of her shell and learn that the world around her isn't so scary. Don't be fooled by her nervousness because once she warms up to you she becomes the biggest sweetheart that never wants to leave your side!

SIZE:
24 pounds
HOME TYPE:
House or townhouse - No apartments, as she can be very nervous of new people, sounds and environments.
CHILDREN:
Yes - older children and adults as she can be nervous with new people.
CATS & SMALL ANIMALS:
Yes- cats and small animals potentially compatible with proper slow introduction.
OTHER DOGS:
Yes- Dogs potentially compatible.
ACTIVITY/ENERGY LEVEL:
Moderate to High; will need daily exercise, enrichment and mental stimulation but enjoys some daily down time as well.
HUMAN COMPATABILITY:
First time dog owner possible.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/NEEDS:
Minimum 3 in person training sessions to work on the following; Basic training, Basic manners ( jumping up and mouthing), Socialization, touch sensitivity, confidence and relationship building.
HUMAN SOCIAL:
Working on human socialization but can be fearful and will need extra time and/or multiple meets. Once comfortable she loves her people.
FAVOURITE THINGS:
Spending time with the people she loves.

**Please remember that animals are coming back from foster care to the centres for their meet and greets. They will be experiencing a new environment and meeting new people, which means they may not exhibit the same behaviours they did in their foster videos or while in foster care.
