Hello! My name is Beans and I am a big playful boy that loves people. I can to the shelter in November of 2024 and have been looking for a family to call my own. I love to spend time with my favourite people outside where I can chase lots of tennis balls. I have been told I don't know my size but the staff say I am doing great learning my manners.

House or Townhouse - No Apartments or shared entrances due to reactivity
CHILDREN:
Yes - Older children due to size and strength
CATS AND SMALL ANIMALS:
Yes - cats and small animals potentially compatible with proper slow introduction
OTHER DOGS:
No - has shown reactivity to other dogs
ACTIVITY/ENERGY LEVEL:
High; will need a lot of daily exercise, enrichment and mental stimulation
HUMAN COMPATIBILITY:
First time dog owner possible if prepared to work with some difficult behavours (ex. reactivity)
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/NEEDS:
Minimum 2 In person training sessions to work on the following; Basic training, Basic manners (jumping up, mouthing), Socialization, Reactivity
HUMAN SOCIAL IN SHELTER:
Very human social he loves to spend lots of time with everyone he meets

Chasing toys, especially tennis balls!
