Are you looking for a smart girl that wants to learn as much as she can? Well look no further as our girl Toph sounds like the perfect fit for you. Toph loves to learn new tricks and work on her basic manners, although we are pretty sure she will do just about anything to get a yummy treat.
Toph has been looking for her furrever home since October and even though she can be a bit nervous at first it doesn't take her long to show you just how much love she has to offer.
Toph would love to find a family to call her own where she can explore the world and learn more tricks as this girl has a big brain and wants to use it.
IN-SHELTER NOTES & IDEAL HOME
SIZE:
39 pounds
HOME TYPE:
House or house with fenced yard - no apartments as she can be very nervous and she is vocal
CHILDREN:
Older children or adults as she is nervous with new people, needs work on her manners and does not know her size
CATS & SMALL ANIMALS:
Yes - cats and small animals potentially compatible with slow proper introduction
OTHER DOGS:
Yes - potentially compatible
ACTIVITY/ENERGY LEVEL:
High; will need daily exercise, enrichment and mental stimulation
HUMAN COMPATABILITY:
Working dog experience or research would be beneficial
TRAINING REQUIREMTNS/NEEDS:
Minimum 3 in person training sessions to work on the following: Basic training, Basic manners (jumping up self-control, and mouthing), Socialization, Reactivity
HUMAN SOCIAL IN SHELTER:
Very human social once comfortable after some time. Once comfortable she is a love bug
FAVOURITE THINGS:
Stuffed toys, chasing tennis balls and zooming around
