My name is Sarge. Don't let my name or grumpy look fool you, while I may have a gruff exterior , I am a big teddy bear who would be putty in your hands. I grew up on the streets and liked to get in fights and because of that I have something called FIV, but don't let that scare you, you cannot catch it from me. I've realized life is much better off the street and would love to have a nice warm bed or couch or even your lap to snuggle into. I will need a home with no other cats due to my condition, and because I was a fighter, I am a bit of a loner, so would prefer to be your only fur friend. My friends here at the shelter have shown me love and I start purring as soon as they open my kennel and want to jump into their arms for some lovin'. I do like to give some love nibbles when you are petting me, so I would likely do best in a home with big hands, not little bitty ones that taste yummy.
