Five homes couldn't keep him-but maybe that's because Olaf was waiting for you.

Olaf has had a bit of a journey. He's been adopted five times, and while each one started with hope, none turned out to be his forever. Not because he's difficult-he's just been holding out for the right match.

At around 50 pounds, Olaf is the perfect blend of gentle soul and goofy sidekick. He's got this calm, laid-back vibe most of the time, like a little old man in a dog's body. He loves to follow his people around the house and is happiest lounging nearby or stretching out on the couch. He's completely house-trained, does great with free roam (no crate needed), and settles beautifully indoors.

But don't let his grandpa energy fool you-when he's outside, Olaf lights up. He loves a good walk, a backyard romp, or a zoomie session, especially if he knows cuddles are waiting at the end.

He gets along with some dogs after slow introductions and has done well with kids who are comfortable around playful pups. He's still working on his houseguest etiquette-he can get a little overexcited when someone new comes in, but he's learning to greet politely and sit for attention.

Olaf does have one job he takes very seriously: neighborhood watchdog. He'll let you know if someone walks by your house, and he's proud of it. For that reason, he'd do best in a home with some space-not an apartment-where he can express himself without worrying about thin walls or close neighbors. And he'll need a tall fence too-his back legs have a surprising spring to them when he's curious.

Olaf isn't looking for perfect. He's just looking for someone to finally see him-to love him through his quirks, let him nap in the sun, and remind him he's home for good.

He's still waiting. But maybe not for much longer-maybe he's been waiting for you.
