Pretty Toucan came to MLAR from a home with over 80 cats. She is understandably shy and scared in her new surroundings. She is slowly learning to trust people and is starting to allow some pets. Toucan will need a quiet home with a patient owner who will give her all the time she needs to decompress and feel comfortable. Life has not been kind to her in the past.... we promised her a better future. Could you be the one to give it to her?
If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared -- bring a photo ID, proof of current address and a cat carrier. We are open daily 11-5pm.
