Hopper is a special little kitten with an even more special spirit. He has CH (cerebellar hypoplasia), a neurological condition that affects balance and coordination. It is not painful, not progressive, and not contagious.
Cats with CH simply move differently and they adapt in the most incredible ways. CH cats don't know they're different - they just know how to be cats. They play, they love, they explore, and they live happy, joyful lives.
Hopper is a super playful boy who especially loves toys that make noise. He's busy, silly, and curious about everything around him.
Despite his wobble, Hopper can eat, drink, and use the litter box on his own. He appreciates a little help with wet food, and if he happens to miss the litter box or tumble out, he reliably uses the pee pads placed around it. He truly does his very best. He get around by scooting, rolling, flopping, and wiggling his way through life on his own terms.
His ideal home would have carpet or area rugs for traction, no stairs, and cozy covered beds (which he loves for the extra stability and comfort). With a few simple accommodations, Hopper thrives.
Hopper isn't broken. He's just a kitten who moves a little differently - and who deserves a family that sees how wonderful he is.
